A book of The Form of the Book Book is a collection of essays that explore the principles of book design, typography, and layout. The book serves as both a practical guide and a philosophical reflection on what makes a well-designed book.
The layout is characterized by a dynamic use of square and rectangular shapes. Using simple shapes and type as the main elements of this book was an aid to depict "the basics" that these many authors discuss throughout the book.
This book was a collaborative effort between myself and designers Anthony Crimaldi and Emily Lim.
